Version 0.1 Released

Hey there! It's been over two weeks since Strawberry Jam 7 has ended. Though a very short demo was submitted, it wasn't the end of this game.

This is a major update to SPHERRAI. The story is still incomplete, but a bunch of new functionality added, which make it feel more like an RPG. Added are an inventory and shop system. You can show NPCs items and photos to hear what they have to say about them or progress the story.

Full list of changes:

• A bit more story. There's no more "continuity error".
•  Added menu, file browser, inventory, and currency.
•  Spherrai has two other forms to unlock.
•  Implemented apps: DrawPaw and Virtual Avatar Software
•  You can show pictures to NPCs who ask for them.
•  Frederick gives hints on how to progress in case you get stuck.
•  Full controller and keyboard control through dialogue and menus.
•  Transition between Home and Cyberspace is a cool pixelation effect.
•  Interaction detection works better now.

This release also comes with the grand opening of my Discord server and Patreon. The links are in the game's description. You can follow the progress of SPHERRAI, along with the next game I have in the works.

What's coming up:

Right now my next priority is a smaller update to build the atmosphere of the game. The focus will be getting sound and music added, as well as some polish to the art.

After this small update, the plan is to expand on the real-world side of the game as well as the date scene with Forsythia.
